This session will provide an introduction to point-of-care (i.e. AFAST and TFAST) ultrasound skills and interpretation using handheld, mobile, or otherwise small portable ultrasound machines. Attendees will learn how to identify and interpret thoracic abnormalities (pleural fluid, b-lines) and basic abdominal ultrasound anatomy and abnormalities. This presentation was recorded at the 2022 ASPCA Maddie's Cornell Shelter Medicine Conference.
