Canine brucellosis and its implications in animal sheltering are being discussed more frequently, especially in relation to relocation of animals. This session will review the biology and diagnosis of canine brucellosis that shelter professionals need to be familiar with when discussing prevention and control strategies for the disease. This presentation was recorded at the 2022 ASPCA Maddie's Cornell Shelter Medicine Conference.
