Feline Lifesaving Online Apprenticeship - Spring 2021 Application

  • Registration Closed

Learn how to create and grow multiple coordinated shelter programs that will result in more cat adoptions and increased feline lifesaving. This advanced level apprenticeship is taught by the visionary Monica Frenden, Maddie’s Director of Feline Lifesaving at American Pets Alive!, who has changed the landscape for sheltered cats through creating programs that focus on live outcomes. In this course, students will learn how to create and manage essential cat programs, lead staff and volunteers to accomplish goals and be as effective as possible with limited resources.

This learning opportunity is for shelter/rescue organization directors, managers and coordinators who are empowered to make changes and launch new initiatives in their organizations.

To be accepted to this apprenticeship, your organization must be a U.S. based 501c3 or government animal welfare organization. At this time, we are unable to accept applications from U.S. territories. Students must be able to access the online learning materials on Maddie's University and attend four weekly 90-minute Zoom meetings at 4 pm Eastern/1 pm Pacific each Tuesday starting March 30.
