Adult Cat Foster Programs

Your community's capacity to care for cats depends heavily on your organization's foster programs. The cat program at Austin Pets Alive! started using only foster caregivers; there was no brick and mortar facility for cats. Now APA! has between 400 and 1200 cats and kittens in foster care at any given time, with 1100 cat foster homes active annually. This course will give you all the tools you need to start or grow your cat and kitten foster programs. The course is authored by Monica Tarant,Chief Innovation Officer at the Give Them Ten Movement, driving efforts to create cat-caring communities nationwide.

This course has been pre-approved for 3.0 Certified Animal Welfare Administrator continuing education credits by The Association for Animal Welfare Advancement.
